We’re two sisters who have always enjoyed creating homes that feel calm, warm, and thoughtfully put together. Although our two apartments have their own style and personality, we’re both drawn to spaces that feel just as good to live in as they do to look at.

A few years ago, we bought two neighboring apartments before they were even finished. And that’s where our story really began.
For the next few years, we watched both apartments slowly take shape while imagining how each space would one day look and feel. We spent countless evenings gathering inspiration, choosing materials, planning layouts, and searching for pieces that felt right for us.
Although our decorating styles are different, we discovered that we loved the process just as much as the finished result.
When we finally moved in, we realized that it wasn’t only the finished spaces we loved. It was everything that went into creating them. That’s why we created Calm Home Stories — to share not only beautiful spaces, but the ideas and thinking behind them.
